...and if you happen to be wondering where ShaSha’s came from, I’m glad you asked.
Growing up my nickname was Shani, and to this day, some friends and family still call me that. But everything changed when my first niece was born. I was trying to teach her to say “Shani” by repeating, “Sha, Sha, Shani.”
She didn’t quite pick it up during my visit, but soon after, my sister texted me: “Niecee is at the window calling out, ‘ShaSha, ShaSha.’” And just like that, my Auntie name was born!
Today, my two nieces and two nephews all call me ShaSha, and it’s a title I wear with pride. Being their Aunt is one of the greatest joys of my life.

How ShaSha's Started
Our founder, Shannon, is a proud Virginia girl—born and raised in Spotsylvania, now calling Chesapeake home with her awesome partner and their lovable Pit Bull “Forest.” After graduating from Shenandoah University, she dove into the world of fun, creativity and serving others.
